About
“The Last Frontier” of Alaska: 20-day small group overland adventures from the hustle and bustle of Anchorage to the pristine wilderness that few people reach. We pride ourselves on hitting the highlights of Alaska, like Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks but also going to places like the Maclaren River Wilderess Camp, Wrangell/St. Elias National Park, our luxury Adventure Camp at Kachemak Bay, and Valdez.
Summers in Alaska have plenty of daylight depending on how far off you are from the Summer Solstice. Salmon can start running as early as May andrun through September. You know what that means? Find where the salmon are running up the rivers and you’ll be assured of spotting some bears fishing for these fantastic tasting fish.
On this adventure, there are ample hiking opportunities in Alaska’s National Parks, sea kayaking in Kachemak Bay, wildlife cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park, and a luxurious stay at Across the Bay Tent & Breakfast. Throw yourself in some adventures on our optional activities like ice climbing, glacier walks, Kennecott historic Mill Tour, Columbia glacier kayaking, rafting, halibut/salmon fishing, and flights to world famous Katmai National Park for bear viewing or around Mt. McKinley. Whether you are a novice or an expert at camping, hiking, or just adventure, we’re the experts who can take you on “The Adventure You’ll Always Want to Relive!”
