Turnagain Arm Winter Scenic Tour
Starting at $345 Per Person • 7 Hours • Explore scenic highlights in one day!
About
Departing from your hotel, this interesting tour travels south of Anchorage along the Seward Highway, one of only 13 US highways featuring the designation of an “All-American Road.” The trip will be filled with chances to stop and savor the scenery and take photos as we drive the Turnagain Arm’s winding roadway to Girdwood and Alyeska Resort. We’ll take a tram ride to the top of Mount Alyeska for a stunning view of the glacial valley below, then continue for the short drive to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center (AWCC).
The AWCC is a 200-acre facility dedicated to the preservation and protection of Alaska’s most iconic animals. See moose, bears, wolves, musk oxen, and more as you walk or drive the beautiful property, any time of year.
After we reach Portage Valley, we’ll return to Anchorage, enjoying the scenery again. End this wonderful day of exploration with a return to your hotel.
