Join us on our Fairbanks Northern Lights Tour to view and photograph the Northern Lights in and around the greater Fairbanks area. We pride ourselves on offering intimate, small-group trip experiences. Capped at eight adventurers per guide, your Fairbanks Northern Lights Tour will almost feel like a private excursion!
Each night’s tour location is chosen to maximize your chances of viewing the lights. Our tour locations are chosen based on the weather forecast, aurora strength, and driving distance from Fairbanks. Our team of experts will get you to the most strategic location possible to see the Northern Lights.
Book your preferred date to go on an aurora tour, and our reservations team will contact you, via phone, within 48 hours of booking to discuss your arrival and departure details, as well as any additional nights you might be available.

Please Note
- Private Tours are available for scenarios such as children under 11, early morning flights, marriage proposals, guests with mobility issues, or other unique circumstances.
- We require a minimum of 2 guests to operate a tour
- Gratuity is NOT included in the tour price and it is appreciated!
- Hotel pick-up is available at Fairbanks hotel locations only and NOT available for private residences (ie Airbnb or VRBO). If staying at one of these locations, our office will reach out to confirm the pick-up location.
Cancellation
Tour is refundable up to 72 hours prior to your initial tour departure booking date and time. If your tour is moved to another date during your for confirmation call on the date you book, the 72 hours timeline does not transfer to the new date. Cancellations based off of overwhelmingly poor weather conditions will be refunded by GLA during the forecast call by the Aurora Team. Cancellation requests less than 72 hours from initial booking departure date will only be granted if the tour is completely cancelled due to weather. GLA will accommodate reschedules based on availability.
