About

Caines Head Trail is located on the west side of Resurrection Bay. This is a moderate hike with some technical challenges that require some advanced planning, but the views of rolling alpine meadows and the spectacular history of the area are well worth the effort! Whether you decide to hike first or boat first, the boat portion of the adventure takes you through the waters of Resurrection Bay between Seward and our hike.

This is a quintessentially Alaskan experience. Our hiking journey is limited by our ability to traverse a 3 mile section of rocky beach that butts up to the fjord walls surrounding Resurrection Bay. If the tides are not taken into account, you will be stranded and unable to pass! Our experienced hiking guide will plan the best times to make this journey, but this unique feature of the trip makes it difficult to schedule online.
