About

Join Eagle One Tours for an unforgettable 2-hour journey through the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Ketchikan! This narrated van tour combines wildlife, history, and Native culture, giving you the perfect taste of Alaska in just a couple of hours.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive 11 miles south to Herring Cove, where we stop at a salmon hatchery and creekside viewing area. Here, you’ll have the chance to spot black bears fishing for salmon, bald eagles soaring overhead, and even harbor seals cruising the waters.

Next, we visit Saxman Totem Park, home to the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles. Not only will you see these towering works of art carved from red cedar, but you’ll also learn how they serve as powerful storytellers, preserving the legends and history of the Tlingit people.

Finally, we return through historic Ketchikan, with a drive past Creek Street, once the town’s lively red-light district, City Park, Salmon ladder, and other highlights of the downtown area

With comfortable 13-passenger vans, we keep our groups small for a more personal experience—and private tours are available upon request.

Come explore the great outdoors and rich heritage of Southeast Alaska with Eagle One Tours!

**Please note that Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. We do our best to locate a variety of wildlife and hold a 70% chance on all van tours.
