About
Our knowledgeable Pilots/Guides will share the biology, geology, and history of the region with you as you travel to Kantishna Roadhouse. Be sure to have your cameras ready to capture pristine landscapes and abundant wildlife in their natural habitat. If the weather is clear, you might even have a chance to see Denali, the tallest mountain in all of North America. Lunch at the exclusive Kantishna Roadhouse. Snacks and drinks and your choice of a fun, interpretive activity at the Roadhouse, such as gold panning. _______________
What to Wear & Bring
Denali’s weather can be changeable. Dressing in layers that will keep you warm and dry is advised. A camera and sunglasses are recommended.
Cancellation
Cancellation Policy
nIf you need to cancel your booking for any reason, you may do so 30 or more days in advance without penalty.
If your cancellation is made within 30 days of the trip, the deposit of $175 is non refundable.
nIf our flight operator, Denali Air, cancels your flight due to weather or other circumstances beyond your control, we will do our best to rebook you for the next available date, or you will receive a full refund.
nTour operators maintain a minimum of four passengers for the tour to operate. Guests may purchase additional seats to ensure the tour. Tours are subject to cancellation/rescheduling based on these guidelines.
nWeight policy: Approximate passenger weights will be taken at the time of booking. All passengers and carry-on bags will be weighed at check-in at the Denali Air office; passengers will be weighed with everything they are bringing on the trip (coats, shoes, etc.). The MAXIMUM combined passenger weight is 1000 lbs.
nIf your group exceeds 1000 lbs., alternate options will be presented, including utilizing two aircraft when possible (which will require paying for that additional aircraft).
Travel Insurance
nWe highly recommend travel insurance, which can cover family and medical emergencies, as well as travel disruptions.
nAccess to our remote location can be impacted by weather events and other forces beyond our control; and reservations canceled for those reasons are subject to the cancellation policy. Any travel or accommodation costs associated with delays or unforeseen circumstances are the responsibility of our guests.
