The cart ride and kennel tour is an interactive, hands-on experience. You will get to feel the power of a team of 8-10 Alaskan huskies as you enjoy the scenery around Nome.

Safety for humans and dogs is our number one priority, and having fun is our second! Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven, slippery surfaces. The dogs are very strong and friendly and do jump when they are excited, so it is especially important to have good balance. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
What's included
- Meet 20 Alaskan huskies and have your photo taken with your favorite dog
- Get an overview of equipment, including sleds, harnesses, booties, gang lines, and camping gear
- Learn about dog care and nutrition
- Learn about sled dog commands and training
- Practice harnessing the dogs
- Sled dog demo - you get to help hook up the dogs for an exhilarating hands-on experience
