Experience a true Alaska winter backcountry adventure on our Remote Pike Fishing trip in Point Mackenzie, Alaska. This trip combines snowmachine travel, breathtaking scenery, and exciting fishing for aggressive northern pike.
We will meet at the Ayrshire Trail Head in Point Mackenzie, located about 1 hour and 45 minutes north of Anchorage. Your guide will send a pin to the exact parking location prior to your trip.
From the trailhead, we’ll depart by snowmachine for a 20-mile ride into the backcountry to reach the remote lake where we’ll spend the day fishing. Along the way you’ll experience beautiful Alaska landscapes, wide open terrain, and incredible views—including a clear look at Sleeping Lady.
Northern pike are known for their aggressive strikes and exciting fights, making them a blast to catch for anglers of all experience levels. Between the thrill of the ride, the scenic surroundings, and a day spent chasing fish on a remote lake, this trip delivers the ultimate Alaskan winter experience.
