About

Halibut fishing in 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting season! Halibut fishing is available starting May 20th, with optimal success typically occurring after early June.

If you are wanting to book in May, we do have success and recommend booking a 6-hour combination trip as extra time increases the success rate.

Please note that we are restricted to one Catch and Retain Halibut trip per day, per boat. All Tuesdays will be Closed for Halibut retention starting May 13, and go through September 9th.

New Halibut requirement: Any angler 18 years and old who want to retain a Halibut will be required to purchase a RQE Halibut stamp, which is $20.00 each. They can only be purchased at the time of booking.

Catch and Release: Will be open on any day that is closed for retention. Days that are not closed, Catch and Release options will only be offered once our Catch and Retain trips have been booked up for the day. Catch and release is a wonderful option, especially with the limited availability for retention trips.

While enjoying your fishing trip, seeing whales and other marine wildlife will happen or, if wanted, can happen. The luxury of taking a private adventure is it's your trip. You have family or friends who do not want to fish? No problem! Bring them along for some whale watching.

We typically end our season early October, however this depends on how the fishings going.

  • Rain gear is not necessary, but customers can bring with them
