A private Sky Party brings an expert guide and stargazing gear directly to your accommodation for an intimate, educational night under Alaska’s skies. Guides provide real-time aurora interpretation, identify constellations and celestial objects, and explain the science behind what you see. Telescopes are used when conditions permit, and guests receive tips for photographing the aurora with phones and cameras. The experience is relaxed and engaging, designed for families, small groups, and private gatherings—no buses, no crowds, just your group and the sky.

Guest Cancellations

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled Sky Party receive a full refund.
nCancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled start time are non-refundable.

Weather & Safety

n

Sky Parties operate in a wide range of winter conditions.
nCloud cover, aurora strength, and changing sky conditions are not valid reasons for cancellation or refund.

If conditions are deemed unsafe (extreme cold, hazardous weather, or travel conditions), Champion Skyes may:

Reschedule the Sky Party, or
nIssue a full refund if rescheduling is not possible.
nAurora Activity Aurora visibility is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.

No refunds are provided due to:

Low aurora activity
nFaint, brief, or intermittent aurora
nChanging conditions during the experience
nLodging & Access Issues

Guests are responsible for confirming that their lodging permits a private guide to be on-site.

If a Sky Party cannot take place due to lodging restrictions, denied access, or policy conflicts resulting from guest negligence or failure to confirm permissions, the booking is non-refundable, regardless of notice period.

No-Shows Failure to appear at the agreed location and time is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.

Guide Cancellation In the rare event Champion Skyes must cancel due to illness, equipment issues, or unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
