Come catch the largest halibut we can find!
About
We head out—usually to either Cook Inlet or the Gulf of Alaska. On these trips, we target the largest halibut we can find, picking through fish and hoping for a nice keeper for each client.
Current halibut regulations: - Limit: 2 halibut per person per day - Only 1 may be over 27 inches
We will all gather together with the Captain and discuss the weather, tides and currents and come up with the best game plan for the day to maximize our chances of looking for nice sized fish. We primarily fish for halibut on this trip. In addition to halibut, guests may also catch Pacific cod (no limit), even salmon if they're in and biting.
What's included
We provide the New Halibut Stamps on our trips, all fishing Gear,( Accurate Reels and Okuma Fishing Rods) bait, tackle, safety equipment and fish cleaning. Overnight trips include meals, bunks and bedding. We have NO Fuel Surcharge.
What to bring
Valid Alaska Fishing License and any stamps that apply like a King Salmon stamp. Warm layered clothes, boots & rain gear, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and any personal items you may need. Food & drink for the day. We provide food on our overnight fishing trips and multi day fishing & transport hunting trips. If you bring an ice chest please try to consolidate everything into the smallest size.
