About

See beautiful Kachemak Bay from the air in our De Havilland Beaver or Aeronca Sedan! Pilot Wes Head has been giving flightseeing tours of the area for the past 14 years and will share his knowledge in characteristic Wes-style. Learn all about the natural history of the bay and its Native People as you fly over glaciers and breathtaking mountains.

Learn about glaciers, float over commercial fishermen at work in the inlet, and keep your eyes peeled for whales, bears, mountain goats, and moose. Fly over the Grewingk Glacier and get a bird’s eye view from above down into the crevasses.

On clear days, the Alaska Range reveals itself in all its grandeur. Looking across the Cook Inlet towards Katmai and Lake Clark National Park, views of Mt. Douglas, Mt. Augustine, Mt. Iliamna, and Mt. Redoubt can be spotted in the distance. Each person will be given a headset to listen in on this great narrated tour!
