The SkyChase™ Northern Lights Experience is a guided adventure designed to give you the best chance to witness and photograph the Aurora, while staying warm and relaxed. Our expert team uses the Lights-for-Life™ Formula to chase clear skies using real-time weather data and local expertise.

You'll ride in a heated, winterized Mercedes Sprinter van and enjoy our cozy mobile Aurora lodge, complete with a warming fire, twilight snacks, drinks, and hands-on photo support.

Let us know the full range of dates you're in town and we’ll act as your Aurora Advisor. We’ll monitor the weather and Aurora forecasts and notify you of the best night to chase the Lights.

Standby Program (Direct Bookings Only)

Loved your SkyChase™ experience and want to go out again? Join our Standby List within 7 days of your original outing and get priority access to available seats on any upcoming night — no additional charge if space is available.

It’s a guest-favorite, budget-friendly option for those who want to chase the Lights a second time without chasing the price tag.
Flexible plans? You could be back under the stars tomorrow.

Aurora Guarantee

We only head out when chances of seeing the Lights are strong. If the forecast is poor, we’ll reach out on the morning of your tour so you can choose from:

1. Full refund
2. Reschedule within the week (based on availability)
3. Proceed anyway (without the Aurora Guarantee)

If it turns out to be a good night but the Lights still don’t appear, you’ll receive:
- A 50% refund, or
- A free rebooking (based on availability)

Our guides will confirm eligibility at drop-off.
Unsuccessful nights are rare — but you’re always covered.

Disclaimer: An “Aurora Guarantee” night is determined based on real-time solar activity, satellite imaging, and sky clarity forecasts.
If our team believes viewing potential is low, we’ll reach out prior to departure with your options.
If any amount of Aurora is visible to the eye or camera during the outing, the night will be considered fulfilled under the terms of our Aurora Guarantee.

Additional Notes

• Edited Photos – You’ll get all unedited JPEGs for free, but our hand-edited, professional gallery is available for $59 per group

• RAW Files & Watermark-Free Originals – Not included in the base package (our cameras, our edits — unless you bring your own)

• Private Van – This is a shared group adventure with up to 14 guests per van

• Full Dinner – We serve a twilight fireside snack, not a full meal, though we do our best to accommodate all diets including vegan and gluten-free

• Campfire & Extras – Our #1 mission is Aurora chasing — if long drives or weather affect timing, we may skip the campfire or dinner to maximize your viewing chances

SkyChase™ is an Aurora tour — not a restaurant. We’ll always aim to deliver the full cozy-lodge experience, but if it comes down to campfire or catching the Lights, you know which one we’ll choose. 🌌
