We will pick you up at your Fairbanks area hotel. Pick up time is generally between 9:35pm-10:05pm, depending upon your hotel location and that night's schedule. The exact pick up time will be texted to you on the afternoon of your tour, so please be sure to provide us with your correct mobile phone number. (Note to international guests: We recommend having the WhatsApp app on your smartphone to make communication easier while you are in Alaska.) After an approximately 30-minute drive north into the hills of Cleary Summit, you will get to relax in the warmth of the lodge while you check for the aurora out the big northside windows. Once the lights are out, you'll want to step outside onto the large deck to soak in the view. And if you get cold, just go back in and help yourself to a cup of hot coffee, tea, or cocoa, available self-serve. Indoor restrooms. You will then leave the lodge at 2:00am, and we will take you back to your hotel.
