Homestead Tour with Gold Panning

This is a perfect tour for any age! Take a walk around our ranch learning about the history of our farm.  Walk will be catered to the comfort and ability of our walking guests. This tour begins at the original ranch where you will meet our horses and see the barn milled from our own trees. Our ranch is quite spread out, so we will ride in the tour Hummers to cover the distance of the ranch. You will see our pastures where cattle are grazing and horses play. Ride up to the big fields where views will stretch for miles in every direction. See our zipline course and get some incredible pictures while you walk through the gardens and cut flowers. Enjoy learning about our equipment and tractors while you tour through the working part of our shops and barns. Guest’s may see wildlife such as eagles, cranes, porcupines or moose. Guides are knowledgeable of the vegetation in the area as well and the peaks around us. Meet the Legendary Prospector Wick Sunderland and learn to pan for Placer Gold. We will meet finish the tour at the welcome center where you may also purchase a coffee or a snack. This tour is 1.5 hours long.

Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for AK weather. This is a rain or shine tour.
