Embark on a day trip from Anchorage to Matanuska Glacier. Our certified guide provides instructions and gear, as well as information about the glacier and surrounding areas.

Our journey starts at 7 a.m. in your hotel lobby where we commence our 2.5-hour journey to Matanuska Glacier. You will learn about the breathtaking views and wildlife from an Alaskan native guide, and you can be on the lookout for wildlife on the way. We’ll make sure to have a few photo stops during our trip so you can capture the scenic vistas and unforgettable viewpoints.

Once you arrive at the majestic glacier, your guide will help you with your equipment and give you instructions on how to navigate the glacial landscapes. We’ll venture across the glacier as we discover grand views of crevasses, seracs and unique ice formations of the Matanuska Glacier.
