Embark on a magical nighttime journey through the snowy Alaskan wilderness with Dawgs After Dark, a one-of-a-kind adventure co-hosted by Alaska Wild Guides and our partners at Battle Dawgs. This unforgettable experience combines the thrill of snowmobiling with the timeless wonder of dogsledding—under the stars.
Surrounded by the quiet hush of the winter forest, guests will take turns riding with a team of huskies along a scenic trail lit with fun, colorful lights. In between rides, warm up by the crackling fire, sip hot drinks, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow adventurers.
Whether you're mushing with the dog team or zipping through the snow on a snowmachine, this nighttime Alaskan outing is a true bucket-list experience—peaceful, exhilarating, and uniquely wild.
Highlights
Talkeetna Location with Battle Dawgs – Partnering with Battle Dawgs, a veteran-led organization in Talkeetna, adds authenticity and heart to the experience. Their passion for the land and their dogs shines through in every ride.
Setting – Most snowmobile and dogsled tours happen during the day. Dawgs After Dark immerses guests in the quiet beauty of Alaska at night, offering a peaceful, starlit atmosphere that's both serene and exhilarating. Riding at night gives us the ability to enjoy the Northern Lights when they're out and about!
Dual Adventure Combo – It's rare to find a tour that combines both snowmobiling and dogsledding in one experience. Guests get to enjoy the speed of a snowmachine and the tradition of mushing sled dogs.
Campfire & Community Vibe – Between rides, participants gather around a warm fire with hot drinks, creating a relaxed and social environment that’s as much about connection as it is adventure.

Cancellation
In accordance with industry standards our cancellation policy is as follows:
n• A $50 rebooking fee is charged for any tour rebooked within 7 days of tour date.
n• You can cancel your tour 30 days prior to your tour date and receive a 95% refund. A 5% administration fee will apply.
n• If you cancel within 30-11 days of your tour date we will offer you a 50% refund or a 12-month credit to use on a future tour. A pricing difference may apply to your new tour. If tour is cancelled for weather reasons there will be no refund for rescheduled tours.
n• If you cancel within 10 days of your tour date there is no refund. We will offer you a 12-month credit to use on a future tour. A pricing difference may apply to your new tour.
