This is an incredible trip on a time and money budget. We go to the both Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks.
A place called Chinitna Bay is only about 40 min of flight time and feels like a world undiscovered. After a beach landing we exit the aircraft and have a chance to either walk to the bears or take a ride in an eight wheeled vehicle on bear trails to a wooden platform surrounded by bears.
