Join us on a jet boat adventure to target Alaska's state fish: KING SALMON. Available from May 20 until July 13, these trips are catch and release in order to help preserve one of the last great wild stocks of Alaskan king salmon. Catch and release also ensures that the guest(s) have the opportunity to catch more than one king salmon per trip!
We offer a morning trip and an afternoon trip. Your adventure begins at Deshka Landing in Willow, Alaska which is about 1.5 hours drive north from Anchorage. What to Bring:
- Each guest over the age of 15 MUST HAVE a valid Alaska fishing license complete with king salmon stamp.
- Warm and waterproof clothing. Layering is highly encouraged. Down jackets, windbreakers and rubber clothing is a must on the water.
- Waterproof/rubber footwear is recommended but by no means necessary.
- Rain pants, rubber bibs or similar
- Hat
- Gloves
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Camera
- Any food or drinks you'd like during the trip. Alcohol is permitted in controlled amounts.
What's Provided:
- All fishing rods, reels, tackle, and bait.
- Professional fish cleaning and portioning at the end of the trip.
- Coast Guard licensed professional captain with Near Coastal endorsement and experience.

Meeting Location and Directions
- We meet at Deshka Landing located in Willow Alaska. The address is 29691 Deshka Landing Road Willow, AK 99688 . The directions are as follows: From Anchorage/Eagle River:
- Take the Glenn Highway to Wasilla, then North on the Parks Highway to Willow.
- Continue North on the Parks Highway to 70.8 mile (State DOT sign announces the Deshka Landing turn).
- Turn West (left) off the Parks Highway approx. (70.8mile) onto Willow Creek Parkway. (This road also runs to the Willow Creek State Recreation Site).
- Continue on Willow Creek Parkway (about 1.9 miles) to the first asphalt road (Crystal Lake Road).
- Turn left onto Crystal Lake Road and continue (about 2.3 miles) on the asphalt to Mishap Road.
- Turn right on Mishap Road (Follow the State DOT sign) to Deshka Landing (about 2.7 miles).
From Fairbanks:
- South on Parks Highway after crossing Willow Creek (71.5 mile) watch for the Deshka Landing Sign.
- Turn right onto Willow Creek Parkway (about 1.9 miles) to Crystal Lake Road.
- Turn left onto Crystal Lake Road and continue on the asphalt (about 2.3 miles) to Mishap Road.
- Turn right on Mishap Road (Follow the State DOT sign) to Deshka Landing (about 2.7 miles).
Cancellation
BOOKING
When you book your charter, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other clients. We know your time is valuable and ours is too, therefore, all bookings become final after 24 hours of original booking. We are an owner-operated small business without a store front or office staff. Therefore, once the summer season starts, we want 100% of our attention to be focused on making your trip the most memorable possible, not collecting final payments.
Final payments are due 30 days prior to your scheduled charter date (bookings made within 30 days are not subject to this policy).You will receive ONE email reminder, ONE phone call, AND ONE text message. In the event that you are unreachable after 7 days, your booking will become null and void and eligible for resale. You will NOT be refunded but any received money shall be held for up to 365 days to be used towards another charter.
WAIVER ACKNOWLEDMENT
All guests are required to sign a waiver prior to their scheduled charter date. The waiver will be emailed to you once you have completed your initial booking.
SHARED TRIPS
If you don’t arrive on time for your scheduled charter, the boat WILL NOT wait for you. If you notify us in advance of late arrival, we will make every effort to accommodate reasonable requests.
PRIVATE TRIPS
If you have booked the entire boat, departure and return times may be negotiated depending on trip booked.
CANCELLING YOUR RESERVATION
All cancellations are subject to rebooking, in the event of a cancellation you may use your original booking to rebook dates within 365 days of the original booking. (may be subject to rate increases).
A 50% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING
Within 24 Hours of Reservation: Will be refunded 100% including original 50% deposit.
Prior to May 16th; Cancelling prior to May 16th, you will be refunded UP TO 50% of total RECEIVED payments. This DOES NOT include the original 50% non-refundable deposit.
After May 16th; Cancellations after May 16th (including original bookings made after May 16), are not eligible for refund; instead they will be eligible to be used towards a charter at a later date up to 365 days from original charter date.
In the event that your trip is cancelled due to weather or mechanical failure, your trip will be refunded 100%.
