About
This private, action-packed heli and kayak adventure combines a 20-minute scenic helicopter flight over the Chugach and Kenai Mountains with an alpine hike, iceberg kayaking on Spencer Lake and a scenic Alaska Railroad return. Guests hike across glaciated alpine terrain and down to Spencer Bench, enjoy a catered lunch and hot drinks, then paddle among icebergs and raft up near the Spencer Glacier terminus before boarding the Glacier Discovery Train back to Portage and returning to Girdwood. The trip is available daily as space allows.
