About your tour

Alaska Kayak Companies boat and kayak tour is set up to see the wilds of Alaska from the water and not from the window of a van or charter bus. Together we will visit wild coastline where there will be salt spray but no gift shops.

With three full hours on the water you will see a range of marine and intertidal life. Unlike a dock launched kayak tour I don’t have a firmly set route. The Huckleberry (the cabined aluminum vessel in the photos) allows us the mobility to find the best water and the most wildlife that is nearby on every tour. I can’t make any promises on behalf of mother nature as we aren’t a zoo but we regularly see everything from sea stars, jellyfish, seals, and bald eagles to the occasional humpback whale, black bear, or orca! _______________
