Night Run Tour

All Ages! • 2-3 Hours • Travel Under the Alaskan Night Sky by Dog Team

Meets at Bad Manners Kennel

About

There is nothing more magical than traveling by dog team at night.

Duration

  • 2-3 Hours

    About

  • We will run 8 miles under the Alaskan night sky and if you’re lucky, you may even see the Northern Lights!
  • You will meet your guide and gear up for your night run at Bad Manners Kennel. Your guide will introduce you to the sport of dog mushing and give you a quick lesson in how to drive a dog sled.
  • Once you are geared up, you will head out to the kennel to meet the dogs. The kennel is beautifully lit with warm string lights creating an unforgettable winter scene.
  • Next, you will assist your guide in harnessing and hooking up your dog team and take off for your run. You’ll be riding in the sled or driving a tag sled (a second sled attached to the dog team) and take turns so everyone gets to experience both driving and riding. We will stop in a big open swamp to stargaze, look for Aurora, and take photos.
  • Then it’s time to head home to warm up by the fire and look for Aurora one last time. -Please call to book for groups over 3 people.
