For July only, Tuesdays only. We will depart from the Homer public boat launch located on the spit. We will depart early probably between 5-6am to ensure that we get a good 10-11 hours in. This trip is subject to weather, if the winds or waves make it unsafe we will discuss changes to the trip itinerary. The safety of our customers is our top priority. The travel portion of this trip is usually about 2-3 hours both directions. We will be targeting lingcod, rockfish, and halibut. We will work our hardest to get limits of all species, but we will definitely have a great time.

About
In July Lingcod season opens up in Cook-Inlet. This is a full day charter for Lingcod, rockfish, and Halibut. We offer this on Tuesdays only during July. Limits for Lingcod are 2 per day 2 in possession, but to preserve the fishery we only allow for 1 Lingcod per person per day. Rockfish can potentially retain 3 per day dependent on the type caught.
Lingcod live in a very specific area and getting there is extremely weather dependent. If the weather is to dangerous we will fish closer inland for rockfish and salmon, or the trip can potentially be cancelled if safety is a concern.
Cancellation
Deposits are returned if the trip is canceled by AFISHUNT Charters due to weather, mechanical, or crew injuries/illness, or if fishing regulation changes close a fishery.
Fishing regulation changes that modify the technique used, fishing area, size or bag limit will not be a basis for cancelation.
Deposits are not returned if the client cancels any of the scheduled trips for that client within one calendar month of the scheduled date. If you pay your deposit with a credit card and cancel at any time after making the reservation, we must retain a 5% processing fee.
If the client cancels within 48 hours of the scheduled charter, the full amount of the charter will be charged due to the late cancellation.
