Starting and ending at Cottonwood Lake, you kayak across lakes and through streams, with views of the beautiful Chugach and Talkeetna Mountains. It is not uncommon to see moose, ducks, and fish along the route.

We will begin in Cottonwood Lake where we will paddle across to the creek. The creek will take us through a tunnel into Mud Lake. After paddling around Mud Lake, we will kayak back up the creek back to your car.
What is the cost of floating the canoe trail?
Adult: $200 per person, a minimum of two people, or cash equivalent. Youth 6-17: $175 per person, youth must be accompanied by an adult Child 0-5: free as a lap rider, must call to book.
What each person in your party needs to bring to float the canoe trail
- Quick drying clothes
- Shoes that can get wet and muddy
- Layers such as a fleece and/or rain jacket.
- Hat with cord or a beanie *Weather in Alaska can change quickly so it is recommended that you wear layers.
Additional Services
A shuttle service is available upon request. The round trip to and from Anchorage is $175 per group
